Six months after the conclusion of the Dominion War, Ambassador Worf takes the polity-weary Chancellor Martok aboard the IKS Rotarran to get away from the stench of interstellar politics and visit an alien sea in t he vast Klingon Empire for refreshment in a traditional Klingon hunt for the Bituminous Kraken - a creature infamous for its size and cunning. On low approach, the Bird of Prey lifts a massive rooster tail behind its powerful engine as it cruises the waves approaching a beachhead to land and begin the week-long quest for the monster. As the ramp lowers and the salt in the air strikes their dry nostrils, Martok raises his bent shoulders and a fire kindles in his eye.

"Ah, Worf!" he cried. "The Klingon heart inside this breast still beats!" Worf nodded in agreement, feeling freedom fill his lungs - itching for the weight of a Batleth or the balance of a Qronos javelin in his hand.

"Yes, my friend! Today is a good day to...hunt!" he growled.
