Hehe, awesome.
Just a quick point though, the starmap seems a bit weird? It's almost too low res or something, as the rest of the scene looks great.
I get that its mostly materials and lights for this one though, no biggie x3

Thanks
Yeah, the backgound could benifit from a bot more work. I've been aiming to make one of those nebula-cloudy space scenes as a background, but have yet to get to it.

Mmmm, nebulae. I had a look on dA earlier, there are loads of photoshop artists that have got making their own custom ones down to an art - it's scarily impressive.
Did you ever play Homeworld 2? I loved the backgrounds in that - they were all like nebulae and sunset type scenes, very awesome

Homeworld 2 is awesome
And yeah, the backgrounds in that game are epic, and the same goes for the models in my opinion.

Yeah! Some of the designs were fantastic, I was always kinda hoping for a sequel - even then, still happy just to play it as it is ^-^
I should get my own spaceship model finished, its just sitting there at the moment.... Then there can be epic space battles

I'll make sure I don't miss it
There are a lot of intrersting mods for homeworld2 btw, although the only one I've played is "complex mod" and "star wars". Both held well done models, although the starwars mod had a bit wierd gameplay and balancing.

Yeaaah Complex! I played it a grand total of once, before I left for Uni haaaa. It looked pretty sweet, I just enjoyed how many different things there were.
Haven't tried that star wars one, though, wasn't sure about it. I was always keen to try making my own, but I am too picky about what my models look like X.X
