There is a time of every year when my wife and me are silently looking at each other in secret understanding and we both know... Now it's time for Rayman Games. Soon we dance around our Rayman statue at midnight, sacrifice plums to mix some booze and play every game of the series throught the trippy nights of devotion and giggles.

The positive side-effect of this fever dream is the high amount of inspiration and doodles that become visible over the day and in my lunch break. This one just being a test for super thin lineart at first but when love striked, I spilled blood, sweat and tears and tried out new things. The outcome is pretty accurate to what I originally had in mind.

It's hardly surprising that it hits Drafter every time. There is barely a char that combines style, story and temper in such a perfect way. I simply enjoy this socially in-acceptable, grim-faced-well-intentioned and misunderstood creature. Loveable, isn't he?
