Well, a bit unconventional, but whatever, I like this idea and really dislike Legend. Not for the game itself, it's not that bad anyway, but this is definitely NOT the Tomb Raider I like to play. And to think that later TR games are gonna be like this crap...Inspiration & idea comes from:

Ow. But yes, I much prefer AoD to Legend. The story line dragged me in, and I liked the animation - that it was a 'dark' take on Lara was interesting too. Plus, Kurtis was a fun character.
Maybe I'm biased because AoD was the first TR game I played, but I rank it way above Legend. (I did like Zip and Alister, but their comments got old after awhile)
ANYWAY. Great art - but again, ow.

I must say I don't understand ppl who prefer the new Barbie Lara, but I think that's cause they had Legend Lara first. If they played the good old Lara first, they would see that this is actually a completely different game.
One of the main things in TR is that they scare you, but with new TRs that fear factor has completely dissapeared. I remember when younger, there was no way I would play TR at night, but with the new TRs I don't have that problem and that kinda takes out the magic... if you know what I mean

Yeah, I understand you very well, it's the same to me. The only difference is that I didn't have to play TR at night to be scared of some creatures or sceneries, the same goes for the enemies showing up actually from nowhere. You're right, that's something that's been taken out of the series.
But my my, the new TR (Underworld) is coming out on november this year, and that gives me hope that maybe just a bit of the old TR magic will be able to come back. Have you seen the latest screenshots? I know that it doesn't show much of the game itself (it's about playing not watching anyway), but some kind of creepy atmosphere can be felt. Can't wait to see if Crystals really can deal with the TR and Lara Croft in their proper form, not Barbie-like

Yeah, I've seen them and some really do look scary and I must say they made Lara look more like Lara. That's what makes me happy, y'know. She lookes more mature and serious unlike Legend Lara. I hope they'll give us even a little bit of old Lara back.

but I don't like the fact of Kurtis killing Lara at all
Even if you didn't liked Legend, you can't say AoD was better, it was harder and longer, but the controls sucked, it had too many bugs, and there was so little tomb raiderish levels (too many urban or high-tech levels)
but still your art style it's nice, I hope too you doing Lara again, but not getting killed

In general Legend was better and more playable, but to me it was sometimes a bit boring. It was just too easy and the storyline was too emotional...
Well I don't like idea of Kurtis killing Lara as well. It's not that literal in this picture, I mean to me Aod beats Legend, not Kurtis kills Lara

What do you have against legend? I think it was great, mostly because lara moves way better in legend than in the crappy moving other parts.

I've already said what I have against Legend.
About crappy moving - I think there's no point in comparising Legend and previous parts because there were a bit different technical possibilities.
Anyway I hate that amount of Lara's outfits (that makes such a doll of her), the level of difficulty (the hardest makes no difference here, it's still too easy), the "secrets" (or "rewards" as it's called now) that are lying in the middle of our way... And in addiction to all this - Lara's image. She's never been so pink before. Old friend? Lost mother? WTF is all this?

Well, i just think that game is great, i have it 100% on my xbox 1 and 100% on xbox 360 and im playing tomb raider anniversary too now. But if you don't like it i'd just say you have every right to.
