Conceptual Movie Synopsis - For those of you who want to read an interesting twisted little piece
The Mirror Queen tells the story of the fairytale: Snow White, like no other.
The Mirror Queen is a psychological horror version of the classic tale.
Many elements of the original classic has been changed and updated to suit the genre.
The seven dwarves play a narrative role - meaning, they narrate the story from the beginning. They tell a tale of dementia and madness based on their encounter of the black-haired girl, how they cared for her, trying to fix her broken mind… The dwarves tell the story of a Huntsman looking for his Queen, but never realizing that the girl they found in her dementia, was the Mirror Queen!
The Mirror Queen in this story is the epitome of Balance, Law and Justice (unlike the classic where she was evil)… ironically, her own battles with her inner split personality worsened as time went on. One day, the Land’s beloved Queen went missing… And her Magical Mirror, shattered. In her losing fight, the Queen finally gave into her other half, the brash, vulgar and immature little girl she locked up inside, the girl called Snow White.
Snow White smashed the magical mirror, for it guided the Mirror Queen in her peaceful reign. Not knowing, The Magical Mirror entrapped The Huntsman, the very entity who had kept The Mirror Queen sane, it had also fallen in love with the Queen… ( I love to write crap).
One day, while Snow White slept on the bunk-bed of the Dwarvern dwelling, The Mirror Queen woke up. Convinced, she’ll not have much time before her other crazed-personality wakes up, she concocts a plan to end all of this- to kill her other cursed persona, or it may kill them both, but she had to take that chance. Casting a spell, she poisons the only food left on the bedside plate – The Apple.
The Spell exhausts the Queen as Snow White wakes up in a screaming delirium.
Three of the dwarves enters to calm her. Sleepy (The dwarf) offers her the apple as she steps out into the meadows outside the dwelling, cursing as she went. She bites the apple. The apple falls to the floor…
Besieged by grief and (some) relief, the seven dwarves puts the comatose Snow White into one of their Glass Box creations, every sunrise, they’d take the glass box ouside so the sleeping girl could see the sun (even in her sleep).
One day, after a year of searching for his beloved Queen, the Huntsman returns to the castle path… He spots the glass-box upon the morning hills and trods to it with curiosity. And then… “omg!” like he finaly found her.
And like traditional fairytale style, he kisses the sleeping woman. After a while, her eyes slowly opened… but who woke up?
