Well, this is how theologians have tried to reconcile two contradictory accounts of the fate of Judas Iscariot. (real name JudaH - the idiot who wrote the gospel of Matthew corrupted AH into AS throught the "genealogy").
In one gospel Judah Iscariot , branded as an archtraitor, threw the 30 pieces of silver into the temple and then hanged himself. In the other he used the money to buy a field and then his body burst open !
The theologians attempted to say that a cliff overhung the field, and he hanged himself on a tree atop the cliff. The rope gave and he plunged down the cliff. SPLAT !!
The field was then used to bury strangers in. History had reviled Judah Iscariot ever since, even tho he enabled Jesus (Yahshuah) to atone for our sins.
Too many contradictions in the gospels.
