People in the macabre/horror section always have a strong tendency of letting the Roman Dirge/Tim Burton- style of drawing and humour affect their works a little too much I think >_>

Oh, I pity the poor heart-stolen one. It looks sort of Zim-like...although the creatures are only vaguely human, they inspire sympathy nonetheless. The expression on the hurt creature is truly moving...I've seen a lot of pictures like this, but I think a simple illustration does it best.
