I agree it was a good episode but almost too weird even for Dr. Who.

Hahaha brilliant I love your work and I loved the episode. XD but the next one looks kind of creepy. Thankyou Moffat for my fears of gas masks and stone statues now you are going to add toys to that list

This weeks episode looks so creepy. Dolls already creep me out, now I need creepy killer ones in a show I like and not scary movies I can just choose not to watch!! and I thought the weeping angels as statues coming to life was creepy enough! Gonna be sleeping with the light on for awhile...

It does indeed. And I'm sort of freaked out by living toys anyways thanks to Chucky and Maromi the living stuffed dog (who is actually cute as just a stuffed animal) from the anime Paranoia Agent.

As head-writer, though, he does have supreme authority to "suggest" and change things... Which he takes advantage of frequently. The screen-writers themselves really have little control over their creations once it leaves their hands and enters the studio. So it's hard to say what's a product of who. >_>

Ugh. Right? So much irritation....

As if the frequency with which they've been used throughout the revamp (not to mention the show at large)hasn't damaged their power to intimidate enough... they now have technicolor dreamcoats? Wut? Really?

This is part of the reason why I have a love-hate relationship with Mark's writing. There's great stuff like his Lucifer Box novels (and I can picture him playing the title character) and his Charles Dickens Doctor Who and his Sherlock episode...but then there's his Daleks and the ending to his Sherlock episode.
