(Decided to start something new and that is G.U.N. yep I'm starting build up on the human and mobian military in Sonic's world. I also want to establish that while some mobians do work for g.u.n. they're not very common. There's sort of a feud between humans and mobians qnd they don't exactly like each other but there are some exceptions.)

G.U.N branch: Law Enforcement.

Rank 1:
New Recruit/Private- this rank is a soldier first applying to join G.U.N. First the recruit takes 2-5 months of training, this includes hand to hand combat practice, weapons practice, exercise to stay fit, communications and code words, safety review, practicing medical treatment, and all other sorts of rough and uncomfortable conditioning. When they qualify for the job they get approved and are officially ranked Private. Privates are then given their own uniform, armor, and pistol by default. Privates are mostly used for law enforcement purposes, traffic directors, nightwatch for drunk drivers/speeders, security measures for large events, and all sorts of common police work. They are also taught and required to do common work as well such as plumbing, electrical work, construction, maintenance and engineering.

Rank 2:
Trooper: With 2-3 years of experience, the private is now promoted to the rank of Trooper. G.U.N trooper is where they begin the conversion of law enforcement to military. Troopers work in law enforcement for a scheduled period of time and then do military work for another time period. Troopers also have much greater access to weapons and sometimes operation of advanced machines and vehicles.
(Much higher capacity, advanced rifles and shotguns, machine guns, sub-machine guns, sniper rifles, types of bombs and grenades, ballistic and riot shields, and sometimes if given the order to do so use armed vehicles.)
The jobs for troopers often revolve around heavy-duty police work and some military work, including riot control, dealing with violent crimes, first responders to emergencies in the inner cities (invasions, terrorist attacks, major shootings,).
Basically they are the SWAT members of G.U.N but working in law enforcement and sometimes the military. If ever called into military work they are often used as boots on the ground.
