"For years I've struggled to harness the maximum potential of these gems. The remarkable energy they give off is unique and nearly impossible to describe. I knew they carried great power that could aid me in my journey but even then I did not know their or my limit, nearly resulting in my death several times. Regardless i persevered in my research, I had come too far to halt my progress. One of my greatest discoveries about these gems is that they could bend space and even time to their users will. However experimenting with this proved to be chaos, but I soon realized it was a unique... necessary type of chaos when brought under CONTROL and utilized. One that could bring the chaos of this universe to order, mend the peices of broken worlds back together, or as some may say "control the chaos". For many more years I resumed my self teachings, and repaired my wounds whenever they came and finally... all of my hard work paid off. I soon mastered the art of utilizing time and space, Chaos.... Control!"

just another idea for Black Doom being somewhat tied in with the Chaos Emeralds and the art of using Chaos energy.
is he the first one to discover the Chaos Emeralds or to use Chaos powers.....? Maybe, maybe not, I'm still trying to figure out my ideas. But one things for sure, he's definitely one of the most powerful beings in Sonic's dimension when it comes to weilding the Chaos Emeralds power, not to mention being tied in with the Master Emerald as well.
