I love what you did to it. I'd be interested to see the original too, as that'd be better for stock use - but this is lovely as is.
Also yes it does look very much like a digital painting. Just goes to show how easy it is for people to overlay effects and say they painted it - if this had been labelled an original digital painting, I'd have believed it.
