This lens is a Tamron 70-300 Di LD. [link] It works nice for far-off wildlife shots as long as they're not against a white background (you'll have to use photoshop to get rid of horrendous purple fringing), but it's very noisy and sometimes it takes a while for the autofocus to lock. For the price though, it's a really nice lens...and the macro capabilities are cool too =]

Lol well I'm glad I could help--since you really didn't ask for my input lmao! But yes, it's a nice lens, I like it a lot and it focuses fine the majority of the time--it's usually only when you're trying to shoot things that are quite close that it takes its time lol
