Description
This is a golden oldie of mine... damn so old but you know I still love it... it was something special, I was in a 'void' when I created it...Inspirations and ideas created by my old days RPings on Msn chat helped create it, I have quite a few Wolf pictures scattered across my bedroom, I should probably put them up but this one was one of my favourites.

Ahh, what a beautiful picture! Anthros are my fav type of art, and this picture proves why!
The colors are what attracted me to this shot. The watercolors you used to paint this picture came out very nice, with a soothing, dream-like color tone. The fur on the wolf is shaded so well that I it almost as if you reach out and touch the wolf! Even the hair is nicely done, giving life to this character. The wolf's eyes are what I finally focus on, searching them for deeper meaning. Her blue eyes seem to be at peace with the world, uncaring about anything else at the moment but enjoying the serenity. Her shape is so perfectly proportioned, that her cuteness just radiates from the watercolors in the picture.
The background is a nice soft touch, subconsiously appreciated by my mind as trees, even though when I focus on them, I can tell that you didn't need to put much detail in them to create the effect of a great natural environment.
Yonke-Nekomura said it best about the ripple effects used in your picture. They're just gorgeous.

It's a fantastic picture with a beautiful flow. The curves of the wolf are gorgeous, but I love the subtle shading and the ripples in the water the most.

This picture is SICK! And when I say sick, I mean "It's a damn good picture!! "
Let me start off with the shading. It was the thing that gripped me first. It is so well done, the gradients are so well done and co placed together that there is a sense of realism in this pivture. I love it very muvh, you know. The texture of the fur is well done too. The shading does not hinder it one bit.
The other thing that caught my eye was the water itself. The ripples are a great touch to the picture, it shows movement in the water. But, the REAL thing that jumped out and grabbed me was the reflection in the water. It is distorted by the ripples at a rate perfectly matched by the strength of the ripples.
No wonder you love this picture, it is so well done and the quality of it is superb. Guess what? Instant Favorite!
