Personality:
Octávia is a little sunshine and always aims to see the good in people. Some might call her naive, but even if she doesn't show it she has an healthy mistrust for people at first. This however never gets in the way of being the nicest she can be. Octávia gets excited easily and you mostly see her with a soft smile, which is why everyone can see when she has an migraine day. If you see her at all on these days, that is.

Biography:
Octávia was the golden child of the Van De Meer family. She always was declared talented and well behaved, doing what was expected of her and living up to every expectation and higher. But even if she got spoiled, she never looked down on her big sister Ophelia. The sisters always were very close and Ophelia was a huge role model for Octávia, irrespective of the opinion their parents had of her.
The moment when Ophelia left their home and ran away without telling anyone, it broke her heart. She tried to contact her but soon found out that her sister would not react, possibly having a new phone and leaving everything she knew behind. It was a hard time for Octávia, especially being alone. Her parents however started to concentrate more than ever on her, while also getting her a "Compensation" for her sister - her first Shedu, Decaffeinated Mocha, named after Ophelias favorite hot drink. Octávia loved her little cub on first sight, however she knew it would never be an replacement for her sister. But she wasn't alone anymore, which helped her a lot with the grieving process.
When Mocha grew up, Octávia started to get more and more interested in Shedu Cats. She read everything the local libraries would give her, before roaming the internet on a daily basis to get more information about these fluffy fellas. And the more she knew, the clearer her goal got: Moving to Rockport! She talked with her parents about it and obviously they did everything to help her out. Soon Octávia did find herself in her city of dreams! And little did she know, that her sister also found her way there.
