well done i love the simplicity and the way youve brought the images together. It is much more unified than sincity. I believe you used a lighting effect to give the lady a soft glow which draws my eye to the center keeping my focus on the sword. I also like the use of the starkness to lead me to the emotion you wish to invoke in me. I get the feeling off cold steel biting into the flesh of the unjust.

hey i feel the same way, i too appreciate when people take the time too REALLY look.
i call it paying the price of addmission. to really go on a the ride the artist wishes to take you on you must at least take a minute or 2 to get into the detail of the peice thats where the good stuff is in the "guts" those little things. the little pieces of the artist soul that get left behind thats the good stuff.

I love the winter theme of this. It's got an edge of elegance and danger. It's interesting to see the alterations you made to the model as well, especially since the model was not asian. You did a great job of making the features look natural.
