No, actually. This account I'm currently using was actually his before he let me have it. It was a little more than 5 years ago (damn, time flies) when he made it.
And the reason as to why it starts with an "L" is because the name was already taken by someone else on the site at the time.
Yeah, at first I thought it was a pretty dumb name, but as time went on, it really grew on me. And a good thing too, 'cause I wanted to go by a...different (and now personally dated) username.
