Drawn in ink and then colored with erasable color pencils (they were REALLY growing short and no longer sold anymore, BTW!)

Depends on if you look at the comics or television series. In the comics Rumble was red and Frenzy was blue, in G1 Frenzy was red and Rumble was blue. I go by G1, so Frenzy's in the front to me.
