Never have I read a fanfic and been inspired to draw something.

A PROTOTYPE/Spider-Man fusion, a well written one too I may add, called Variant Strain. If you're a fan of either, I suggest you read it. www.fanfiction.net/s/8642442/1… But in this fanfic, elements from PROTOTYPE are fused into the Spider-Man verse; Peter is Alex; BLACKLIGHT virus is called Hydra, and so forth. It's pretty awesome.

As Peter evolves and becomes stronger, his appearance changed to help hide his identity, with an infection patter forming on his back that resembled a spider, hence his code name that was placed on him. This is what pops up in my head when reading the fic so I had to draw it up. Your thoughts?
