So, I am posting what is happening down here, Brazil.
You may not know, but we are protesting here. It all begun with protests against bus ticket's price in São Paulo. Just a 20 cent adjust, but our public tranport is awful, metro is inhuman full every day, buses are in a terrible state, etc. They were painted as a bunch of vandals(but I have to assume, a few ones were), when the police used tear gas bombs and rubber bullets against people that were only armed with their VOICES and POSTERS. They were screaming NO VIOLENCE! And as result? VIOLENCE!
So, now it has gained nacional extent, and almost all major cities in the country.
I am spreading the news here, because the Governement does not show it, and so does our media.
The CUP it's actually seen here as a bad thing, since our School and Healthcare systems are a TOTAL FAIL, because our money is not been correctly invest on them. And a 1,2 billion reais were gone to build the stadium "Mané Garrincha". It is absurd.
Corruption here has reached dreamlike levels. We can't stand it anymore.

Thank you, friend! I really apreciate your support. Stay stroong you guys too! We support Turkey, I hope things can get better there. I heard that there were some people who were at governement's side, throwing sticks and using knives against the pacifists protesters, so I guess things there are quite complicated.

I'm brazilian too and I hope that situation doesn't gets out of control. I'm from São Paulo and I'm following the protests for the TV. But please, don't compare the Arabian Spring with the protests in Brazil, they are two different situations!

Ei, fale português, afinal somos brasileiras, não? (lol)

Then please, could you share this video? To your friends, family. It would be a LOT of help. People don't really know us or our country. It explains and shows a lot about our reality.
And if we can help you, just type and help will come!

I tried to do it, but it not worked correctly in my current journal! At least, "Brazilian Spring is in my favorites, in the folder "Photography".
The link is there and can be seen by everybody. I'll try to do more and create a new feature/journal soon with this video and other videos or pictures for supporting the people from Turkey also.
