Ok- Last time I wrote no decent description. I'll try to change that now.As many of you may now (or not) this is OC Lan(nie) in the front. The picture depicts 'unwanted rivalry' (with the two dragons visualising the subject in the bg)
Unwanted rivalry: when someone keeps pushing you to compete, while you don't care about competition, or simply don't want it. (A nasty feeling I got to know at art college-maybe that's where the picture came from)
The lotus stand for my story's name 'black lotus'.
One dragon depicts lannie, the other one is another oc called 'Vana' which I will introduce with a decent story and background one day.
Lot's of pencilling hours, enjoy this work for now
more will come soon I hope.

I'm going to art college soon too, my only fear is that there will be a constant feeling of having to compete with each other...
Just try to be strong and worry about your own work and not the others (at least not those who you dont like

Hmm I don't mind competition, but people can go way too far. You have got good and healthy kinds of competition, in which you often decide yourself to participate or not. But then you have those people who only think of proving themselves above all others. They will go over dead bodies to reach their goal, and I think that's a disgusting form of competition.

The dragon was drawn on a different sheet of paper, then scanned and mirrored in photoshop. Lannie was drawn afterwards, keeping in mind the circular design

mja, is dat niet altijd n beetje? het gevoel te moeten vechten, je te moeten bewijzen, zonder dat je dat zelf wilt, maar omdat je omgeving daar toe tot aandringt...?

Hmm ik denk dat als je ergens goed in bent, heb ik toch gemerkt, dat je enorm veel mensen hebt die je steunen...maar daar tegenover zijn er ook veel mensen die zo jaloers zijn dat ze aan je hangen en je naar beneden willen sleuren. Meestal gebeurt dit dan door 'zinloze' competitie, en ik ben daar een beetje vies van. Ik vind dat iedereen in iets goed is, en dat je personen in hun waarde moet laten (niet afbreken)
Ik ben ook vrij competitief in mn vriendenkring, maar dan in de goede zin, en we helpen elkaar ook. We zitten elkaar niet af te breken ^^. Laat staan als je docent dat doet

Hmm eerst een maand aan escapisme gedaan om dan te realiseren dat ik een beurs heb te doen binnen een maand *sigh* (beetje depri - eigenlijk nog nooit zo erg geweest als nu, maar ik kom er wel uit - na effect van de proclamatie gaat maar niet weg....)

'k heb de afgelopen 3 weken bij Groenland in Houthalen gewerkt, decorstukken etc maken voor beursen en feesten... 'k moet u en Daphne nog de groeten doen van Sep (van Genk kunstschool), die werkte daar ook als jobstudent in het familiebedrijfje
