If it says contest, you know I've probably worked quite a bit on it. And this is my entry for 's contest.

Rules: Draw 1 or 2 pics of her OC [link] with 1 or 2 of yer OC's. No idea the name of her OC as I didn't see anywhere that said it, but definately original, as I hadn't seen a half-fairy-wolf combo before. Kinda wonder how something like that would work Oo.

Anyway, I hadn't done a contest in a while, so I figure'd why not? I was trying to think of ideas, such as my normal inflation stuffs, but then decided I wanted to do a sweeter looking pic, so I thought of doing one like the reference pic, but that would seem like I copied. The classic "cutsey hug" idea came, followed by Keshi being around, followed by Kenshi also being a small wolf, obviously leading to Babel. So the pic ends with the Fairy Wolf and Babel with thier "little wolves"

Like most contest pics, I wanted to shade this one, so I went with both light and dark shadings. As for the fairy's hair, I took me a while to get the colors right, but it still looked like crap, so I tried to see what "effects" I could use. Finally found one that I thought looked kinda cool. As for the trees I was also going for a different look, but stumbled on this one accidently and thought it looked cool, so I kept it. Even the leaves have a texture. I thought about adding texture to the grass, but I thought that'd be over the top of "letting photoshop do the work".

I'm a little hesitant to put this pic up so soon in the contest, as since I'm the first, I'm afraid I'm going to scare people away. That's not a boast, it's logical statement. I enter contests for the challenge (for the most part), but if no one challenges me, it's no fun. So go do some drawing ^^

Although it figures, this is one of the few pic's I'd allow critiques on, and my sub ran out T-T

Nameless Fairy-Wolf is 's OC.

And the reference pis was done by , and it's very pretty. Much better with color pencils than I was. Least, I think those were colored pencils...
