Jeez. Like I could come up with them. Merbs are insanely fun to draw, they're so spindly and have terrible posture. At least the ones I draw do. The ones in the series appear to be able to stand up straight.

This is Magpie, given a reboot and a second name, some freckles and also two brothers (?), more scars and a tragic backstory. And one awkward hug. The Swallows have been given new uniforms, because frankly I couldn't remember the old ones and couldn't be bothered digging up the reference pic. I'm so not happy with how I drew Stork. He looks like the terrible nightmare love child of a carthorse and every Dr Seuss character ever.
