This baby was born in dense forests, has a delicate blue coat color since birth.
He always really liked the unusual blue toadstools, which grow to very large sizes in that forest area.
The kid started making caps for himself from these mushrooms. His horns pierced the tender flesh of the mushrooms, and the magic of the Kobold kept the mushrooms alive, so they do not wither and rot on his head. Only tip-top fresh shrooms!
The mucus from the mushrooms was constantly drained onto his head and fur and over time he became completely immune to the hallucinogen.

Combined with a small amount of his mana, the slime from the mushrooms acquired magical properties. Now it's not just a mild hallucinogen, but a powerful ingredient for potions.
