This is SO awesome. The picture is amazing - their expression perfect. SO. MUCH. ANGST. It's killing me. I can't believe this doesn't already have 50+ comments. When I first saw it I didn't even think about commenting because everything I had to say must already have been said, a thousand times over... just noticed how few comments it had now, after seeing the pic for the 100th time or something. XD Anyway. This is beautiful, you're an incredible artist and this should have gotten SOOOOOOO much more attention even if ObiKaka is such a small pairing! I especially find Obito's face sexy AS HELL. For me, less is usually more, so I appreciate that you've kept the art tasteful as well as sexy... So glad I'm not the only one who appropriate this underrated pairing! ObiKaka is my OTP, seriously. And that truely stands for both One True Pairing and Oh The Pain haha XD

The expression on Kakashi's face speaks volumes. Very poignant -- seems fitting that Obito would be among the very few (if not the only one) to see Kakashi in such a state. And man oh man, those glowing eyes . . .

Thank you very much for the comment! And yeah I think you're right; Kakashi is a character that thrives on control. Being a good soldier, being a great ninja... for him, all of that comes down to having an iron grip on all the grief and guilt that sits just under the surface at all times.
Obito is the source and the trigger for most of that guilt. He means enough to Kakashi that he causes the man to stop dead on the battlefield (in a war where he's a freaking General) and melt down. If Kakashi were ever to show all the cards in his deck to anyone, it'd be Obito. Even with all the years (and all the crazy, and all the evil) between them, Obito's still the most important entity in Kakashi's life.
