Description
Leon, a Final Fantasy 2 character who doesnt get much attention from the fans.I had hopes for him to appear in Dissidia Duodecim.
But well, he just didnt make it..
I wanted to portray his 2 sides, one as a warrior from the rebellion who fight
side by side with Firion, and the other as the Dark Knight of the Palamecian Empire.
Painted in photoshop..

i really think he would be awesome in dissidia, he could be the emperors right hand man (seeing as the emperor is pretty much the boss of all the other villains already, leon would be the dark knight agian striking fear into his enemies and allies alike) and then the stroy of leon and firions memories could come into it and in the end Leon could become a hero and help kill the mighty emperor. but if he does ever make it into dissidia i hope they do the dark knight so he is on the villains side, they already added enough heroes, 012 only got 2 new bad guys, so if a third is made they should add villains (dark knight Leon , Zemus, and Xande are 3 that need to be added, people dont even know them lol)

Wow! What a quality work for Leon! Probably the most selfish of any playable character in an FF game. Unlke Kain there is no mind control at play here, he became the Black Knight purely of his own desire to advance, this is strengthened by his character bio. given in an FFII supplementary book in Japan where his personality is listed as "ambitious". But he is a refreshing change from the various goody-goodies of the series however. Even until this day no character in FF has played a similar role.
You can guess that after he was taken by Palamecia he became a vicious person, even when you try to talk him down when he crowns himself Emperor in place of the deceased Mateus he openly tries to attack and kill his own sister and adopted brother. He only relents when the Emperor of Hell comes to disrupt the proceedings, forcing him to flee with his former friends.
Strangely enough, this selfish man does find redemption. According to a supplementary data book on FFIV in Japan, the Deathbringer Sword that Dark Knight Cecil receives from Fabul was given to Fabul by a Dark Knight pretty much exactly 100 years before the game begins, named Leon (Leonhart), who decided to abandon the Dark Sword and become a Priest.
