instead of most artists, who do a collection of their artwork over a span of a year, i do a collection of transformers.another year, another batch of awesome transformers added to my collection! 2011 was a great year to be a transformer fan. with the awesome 3rd party items, the dark of the moon mainline, and the transformers prime stuff leaking out a little early! i cant wait for next year.
January: takara tomy reissue predaking and mastermind creations knight morpher annihilator.
February: fansproject city commander and perfect effect ultimate effect set.
march: reveal the shield voyager lugnut and perfect effect scouting force X.
April: fansproject causality warcry and flameblast, and masterpiece optimus prime.
may: dark of the moon deluxe class crankcase and laserbeak, voyager class megatron and shockwave, and leader class sentinel prime.
June: botcon 2011 box set, animated the motormaster, dragstrip, wildrider, breakdown, and dead end.
July: dark of the moon cyberverse commander class blackout with scorponok and guzzle, deluxe class space case, and leader class ironhide.
august: kreo megatron and fansproject causality thundershread.
September: revoltech dark of the moon optimus prime and fansproject causality stormbomb
October: masterpiece hot rod an.d fansproject causality backfiry.
November: headrobots butcher upgrade set and transformers prime first edition deluxe class starscream, arcee, and bumblebee.
December: maketoys batte tanker upgrade kit.

I've decided against the whole thing because I didn't know that the G2 Prime was only a deluxe size and the United version isn't worth the extra money just for a better shade of gray for Prime's parts.

Holy crap (sorry for the language if that word is a swear). That's alot of TFs. More than I own. My favorite TFs that I own are my ROTF Leader Class Megatron, Deluxe Blackout (got scorponok in the same pack as him), Supreme Class Devastator, Ultimate Optimus Prime, and Deluxe Class First Live Action Movie Barricade. I did want Encore #20 Devastator for my birthday of TFSource but my parents weren't going to get me a $119.95 Transformer (I like going by exact measurments). What are your favorites that you own?

P.S. I would love to make an alt form for your self sprite. If I could I'll make a helicopter (because your self sprite somewhat resembles Blackout/Grindor) if that's ok with you.

haha thats okay! thank you! as far as my favorites go.. man thats a tough one. if i had to pick 5... man its still really tough. blackout and scorponok were my first transformer toys i got when i got back into collecting. id have to include them. leader class hunt for the decepticons starscream is on that list. fantastic toy. really posable, fantastic alt mode, and very detailed robot mode. TF07 leader class brawl is up there. love that toy so much. he was my first leader class toy. TFP deluxe soundwave. such an awesome deluxe. the jet mode is great and the robot mode is so characterful. DOTM voyager class shockwave is up there, hes such a bad ass toy. has a great command presence. plus the light piping in his head makes that red eye shine so well. and im also inclined to include the 4 out of the 6 of tfclub's hercules figure that i own. i have the other 2 coming on the way. ive got neckbreakder, madblender, heavy labor, and exgraver. with structor and dr crank on the way. i love them so much and when i get the last 2 ill be able to combine them into hercules. can not wait.
and oh! ive always wanted to make a vehicle mode for him. ive just never had the time. sure! if you would like to, go ahead and take a shot at it.

no problem! all harmless fun. and please only use the same sprites i used to make the blackout sprite itself. i think i have them in the description for his original piece in my gallery. if not, just tell me and i can tell you.

okay, lets see. these are the pokemon i used. scizor, giritina origin form, rotom fan form, aggron, darkrai, garchomp, dialga, krickitune, and the blue color is from an empoleon sprite, and the silver colors are from a steelix sprite.

awsomee, great grab dude, the only one i have if any equvilance to that kickass figure is my 20th anniversary optimus prime, he's near complete diecast. i really want mre g1 though, such a pain in the ass to find for a decent price though

yeah i saw a starscream on, really high though but still looke really cool, tfa starscream was awsome. but id rather have his voyager class, its actually cheaper lol

I love TFsource! They have such an awesome selection. When I saw your not Insecticons Insecticons, I figured TFsource had to be a place you frequented. Actually just got those three myself (love them!). I've visited BBTS a few times but haven't bought from them. They pretty good to buy through? Friendly? Good shipping?

i actually got the predaking reissue from TFs. i got the 3 inscecticons through BBTS. and ya! they are really friendly. shipping is great. i would recommend them. sometimes they have lower prices than TFS, and vice versa. they are both really good sites. i love them! and the inscecticons are GREAT figures. i love bombshell the most. his sickles and chain are so bad ass.

The Predaking reissue is NICE! He looks pretty big. I'll have to keep an eye on BBTS, I was over there playing and they seem to have pretty much the same or nearly the same selection plus a TON of other stuff. Oh gosh, the insecticons are some of my fav right now....their size is perfect and they are so articulated! And, yes!, Bombshell is my fav too! I just love his legs!

oh yes. its huge. and heavy. weighs a ton. and has tones of gold plastic. it is SO PRETTY. :3 the predacons are so bad ass. second favorite combiner team behind the combaticons. im so exited they are in fall of cybertron and not devastator for the millionth time. and ya, thats the awesome part about BBTS is they sell other stuff besides transformers. you can find just about anything there. and ya, fansproject really made epic win sauce with the not insceticons. have you gotten any of their other stuff, like the city commander or the protector armor?

Oh my gosh...the Combaticons in that little two min clip was so much win and sooo bad ass! I fangirled so hard over that. I think I rewatched it like 100 times just grinning like an idiot when Bruticus combines. And Grimlock at the end...so much love.
I've only just recently taken the dive into third party products. I had a lot of reserve where non Hasbro/official products were concerned since I equated third party products with knock offs. And of course knock offs are (generally) just cheap trash. What changed that was when I got universe/classics(whatever) Kup and was just so dissapointed and horrified at his face. He looked like a zombie! I was so sad, I just set him on the back of one of my shelves and was going to leave him there. Then I was playing on TFsource and saw the head upgrade for him and it was all IDWish and I loved it. So I got that and was very impressed. So I started looking into more and eventually got the Optimus MP head upgrade (I love it) and also got the igear PP03 seekers Storm and Lightening. And then the non Insecticons. The non Constructicons they are making now look awesome, however I'm not a big Constructicon fan...even if I'm still temped. I'm keeping my fingers crossed they do the Protectobots. I've heard rumors they might but I don't think there's anything offical yet. They're my fav Autobot combiners, so I'm hopeful. I would also like the upgrade kit for Ultra Magnus, I've seen that and it's really sweet.

oh my god dont get me started. i nerded all over the floor for that trailer. SO BAD ASS. i squeed like a fangirl when bruticus combined. XD ive got it on my phone and watch it practically every day. and not to mention the song is so good. totally sets the tone for the game. i can not wait. and i love how grimlock just throws his sword in the ground before he transforms. grimlock=BAMF. and i think there is a difference between a knock off and a 3rd party transformer. a knock off is something that looks almost exactly like the real one, and someone is trying to rip you off and sell it to you for a real one's price. *looking at you minerva* third party transformewrs on the other hand, i dont think they are trying overtly to say "hey look were transformers!" you know? they change enough stuff for it to be okay in my mind. and i have been tempted SO MANY times to get the kup heads. they look so good. ive just never actually pulled the trigger. oh and you got the igear seekers? storm and lightning.. which ones are thous again? how are they? and oh ya, the TFC hercules figures look AWESOME. its just a little hard to pull the trigger since they are 100 a pop. and ya constructicons are not my faves either. but starting next month i think im gonna get them. the devastator mode just looks SO GOOD. and i can confirm actually the next combiner they are gonna do is predaking. they showed us concept art for a "not headstrong" earlyier this year. SO EXCITED. predaking is so bad ass. i never was too hugely into autobot combiners. i like the cons more because they can just go to town with dudes like predaking phiranacon and monstructor. and the ultra magnus upgrade kit is BOSS. i love it. i had to pay up the ass for it though since i got it so long after it came out

LOL! That trailer is addictive. If I watch it once, I have to watch it atleast 3 times to feel statisfied. I told my friend THAT was how the Transformer movies should have been....I couldn't care less about who Shia Blah(whatever his name is) is dating or how he's doing in college. I loved that song from the trailer, I had to go out and find it so I could listen to it. I wish one of the third parties would redo the Combaticons combinder set. I like the current set only as Bruticus. I'm not a fan of the set in it's smaller individual parts. Poor Vortex doesn't look like Vortex at all. I'd love a much more truer to G1 set.
Oh yeah, these third party products are, at times, better than anything Hasbro can come up with. Actually Hasbro is just now redeeming its self with me with the TF Prime figures. I have been so unimpressed/dissapointed with the movie verse transformers. I just don't like them. If your a fan I don't mean to offend but they look so cheap to me. Like they cut as many corners as they could and still have a transformer. The new TF Prime one's show they are taking a their time again. Oh gosh, I'll admit the not Scrapper one really really calls to me. I like how he looks but I KNOW it'll be the domino effect if I buy him because then I'll start eyeing the not Hook one because he's pretty cool too, then I'll be like well, I already have two and oh look this one over here is pretty too and before I know it I'll have all six! XD
The igear seekers are these [link] Well, thats the prototype picture. I have the orange one and the newer blue one. I like them. They're very nice, well made. Unlike the MP Starscream they are modeled after, they don't have the awkward hip flang. Thats one of the main things I didn't like about the seeker MP's. The plastic isn't the same as what's used for like the not Insecticons, I think it feels alittle thinner but they are very sturdy and transform nicely. My only complaint would be they are matte in color, the color seems a bit flat. I'd like to find a nice clear semi gloss to paint on them.

i so agree. best trailer ive seen in a long ass time. got me pumped as hell. and ya, thats my one gripe about the TF movies is they focus WAY too much on the humans. i could care less about labeef finding a job or getting a car or his stupid girlfriend. i did like megan though. she was hot. the new girl rosie huntington whats her face was UGLY as hell though. i swear she had the worst botox lips ive ever seen. so unappealing. >.< and XD whats funny is all the people saying "see this trailer? this is how you do a TF movie michael bay." well whats funny is the trailer was made by digital domain.. the same dudes who worked with ILM on the TF movies and is actually owned by bay. XD and your talking about the fansproject one? the one that came with new figures as blastoff and swindle? and ya i agree, alot of the third party stuff is just pure gold compaired to some hasbro figures. and no its cool, i am a fan of the asthetic and i like a LOT of movie toys. some of them i think are pure gold. others, are not so great. you really have to be a fan of the asthetic to be into the figures. and i am a huge fan of it. its honestly what got me back into transformers. i was quitting after energon. i just thought the figures were getting to kiddish and i was growing out of it. but then BAM. 07 movie comes out and im like HELLOWWWW. XD and now ive got like over 600 of the things. XD and RIGHT? you cant just buy one constructicon... you gotta buy all 6!! XD im having the same problem. but i think once i get one in hand, ill dive in and do a backstroke with these guys. ive got a few friends who think they are really good. and OH! the sunstorm one and the blue rainmaker one. they look pretty good. its nice to meet someone who has them and can give an opinion. a bunch of my friends are refusing to buy them because they are about as close to knock offs as the 3rd partys have come. if i were to get any of them i would probably get the coneheads.
