The REAL M1 Abrams! Chapter 6: Combat Engineering Issues, Part 2 of 3Part 1 gave you a crash-course history lesson in Tanks and Combat Engineering, as well as the tools of the trade.
Part 2 will actually explore the issues in this subject, and give you an in-depth explanation of one of two essential tools for a tank to have --- a cannon round with a Demolition capability.

I wonder how Blazer ERA would fit onto a CEV.

It would certainly fit on the hull without a problem, but the turret would probably have to be fitted with custom brackets.
Another concern is that CEVs have a lot more equipment and power tools fitted to their turrets on than an MBT, so there more areas that can't be fitted ERA.

For the M1 Debacle series, the next in line is the chapter on Logistics --- but before I upload it, I want to cover some ground in the other series', because the M1 Logistics chapter is where the gloves come off.
