Description My finished briefcase I started what seams oh-so-long-ago! Double compartment bag sized to a 15" MacBook, lined with pigskin on the inside flap. Off to live out its days in Belgium. Cheers!

Thats a beautiful Bag you've made Vary nice work. I my self am currently working on a suit of armor and I'd love to know the name of theStain and finish you used as Im hoping to achieve the same coloration. And if it was just a generic mahogany Stain any tips on how to get the red to stand out would be great as my projects always end up a Dark brownish color. Β  Β  Β

Thanks a ton! This one I used Tandy's Pro Waterstain in what they call Bordeaux. It has a nice righ color to it but I tend to cut it with water by 25% as it can be fairly dark otherwise. Cheers!

This is absolutely beautiful. Great rich grain and clean face. Less is more works perfect here.
Cheers

Thanks! Yeah this hide had some great grain markings in it. The mahogany dye settled into it nicely and really made it stand out.

ThatΒ΄s a really neat bag! I like how the marks on the leather stand out! nice and clean product with a natural look (well... for natural it might be a little bit to red, but thatΒ΄s okay for me I guess there might be a D-ring on the side... ist there a strap, too?
Really well done!

Thanks! Yeah I like the natural markings this leather had too. When I dyed it they became very pronounced and just add to the character. There are D rings on the sides (can barley see one here) and a matching strap with buckle. Unfortunately I was in a hurry to get this shipped off so I didn't get photos of it.

Okay, so I was right about the D-rings , but thatΒ΄s a reason I can understand
I think marks like scars ans stuff just invite you to use some antique and/or similar stuff, even if I doubt that you used just antique to create that look. All in all: it just came out really nice
