In real life, my dog Roxie developed cancer and had to be put down, but she'll live on forever in my heart and as the Thornhurst character, Roxanne.

In her dreams, Roxanne, a newly minted angel, faces a little hazing ritual to welcome her to the other side! In life, she always wore gloves to hide her mismatched hands, opaque stockings to hide her black and white paws, and even a silk scarf to hide the spots on her neck. While she's allowed to keep most of her outfit, those silly bits have been taken from her and now the poor pooch faces some time being tickled with feathers taken from her very own wings!
