.5 mech pencil.something I've been working on during school for about a week now.
it's a tad large for the scanner, sorry for the image quality.
(yes it's my friend as a witch slayer..again..the other didn't turn out too hot.)

considering you did this with .5 clutch pencil this must of took a LOT of focus. fair play- it's fucking epic! i had an exhibit of all clutch pencil drawings so i know that this must of taken absolutely ages.

This was one of the shorter ones actually, but it did take quite a while. I never much pay attention though. It was one of those drawings I was sort of subconsciously dabbling around on for a week or so. I work fast with my mech pencil I've been told. All of my pencil drawings are done with one.
I think the longest I've ever spent on a drawing was "Canadian meeting." That one is pretty far back in my gallery. 
Now, what's this about a "clutch" pencil? Same thing as a mechanical right?

yeah it's the same thing, i used to draw with them all the time, but they kept jamming on me, also, doing large areas of darkness is such a pain. I'd get bored after an hour or so of drawing one thing. you're better off sticking with it though cause you're pretty damn good for 17

ara, my best friend's dad is gottfried helnwein and that guy is a proper artist, i love drawing but he's so dedicated it makes me realise how shit i am.
he's in his 60s and he just gets up every morning at about 7 and paints until about 11 at night.
he's pretty fucking savage.
but anyway what i mean is if you can keep that focus you'll be actually class when you're older. So don't do something silly like go off and do architecture just to please your parents!

haha, nooo. My entire family has supported me in my drawing/painting major. I'm pretty dedicated I tell ya.
this painter you're talking about, that's pretty admirable. I get in that mindset during the summer mostly. School sort of makes stuff like that hard to do.

baw, I'm a good student. heh, it was during a week when we were taking a state mandatory test called TAKS. It's really easy stuff, and it's really dumbed down for the idiots that go to our school.
I would just doodle on this after I finished. Otherwise, I usually don't draw during school at all!
