Before you fight Magolor EX, I couldn't helpbut think of him saying, "Ello! This is the part where I kill you!"
I like to think he also wants his ship in perfect order, and gets upset if even a small amount of dirt is in the Lor. Birds, he's also freaked out by birds in the Lor too.

Hal laboratories doesn't show this part of the Lor starcutter. They also denied needing to use this, because magolor was already gonna get his butt kicked

Hahaha. XD HAL being woefully neglectful of their villains' safety! But I can also see this as being the Lor's way of jabbing its figurative elbow into Magolor's side, since it's being controlled by him and probably doesn't like being used to further his universal domination plans.
