Sad news everyone. Ken Spears, the other co-creator of Hanna-Barbera's Scooby-Doo and some other shows as well as the other co-founder of the animation company Ruby-Spears Productions has passed away on November 6 which was four days ago. Spears was 82. Another legend from our childhood gone.
Ken Spears died about three months after the other co-creator and founder Joe Ruby died. It's just hard believe.
I will never forget him. I'm very proud that I grew up watching their cartoons. They're part of my childhood along with others from Hanna-Barbera, Disney, Filmation, DIC, Rankin-Bass and Nickelodeon.
