After seeing this meme, it got me thinking about the main character from A Troll In Central Park, Stanley the Troll. Don Bluth himself admitted that it was one of the worst movies they made. His philosophy about the development of a story is like a child's development within the womb, which involves taking time, patience and work. The film itself lacked that philosophy.

While I've seen other people's versions of how he should have been instead of how he was in the movie, this is how my version of him could have made Stanley better;

1. Have him resemble the trolls of the Troll Kingdom, species wise, but with his own design features to make him stand out from the other trolls.

2. Give him a character development by having him start off as aloof and uncaring and hating things regarding beauty, but when he goes on a mission to the human world under Gnorga's orders, he discovers the true beauty of nature and begins to love flowers.

3. Instead of being overly affectionate to a toddler (Rosie in this case), he could act as a father-figure to the kids and protect them from Gnorga and her minions.

4. Instead of being named Stanley, he could have a different name that better suits him.

5. Give him a friend who is similar to his original version, but also acts as his foil of being cowardly and not wanting to try new things out of cowardice.

6. Make him Gnorga's best soldier/henchman or her son and heir to the throne who at first seeks to gain his mother/queen's approval but later rebels against her after seeing her wrongful ways during his character development.

These are all the ideas I could think of, but let me know what you guys think of these ideas.
