Description
Another meme that I decided to fill in to talk about my favourite, least favourite, and guilty pleasure episodes of SpongeBob and why I think they're what I think of them. These are my opinions of these episodes, and I would very much appreciate it if you all respected my opinions and I will respect yours, so I don't mind if you let me know what you think of these episodes as long as you're not being all critical about it.
****************************************
Favourite Episode: Jellyfish Jam
The episode was both enjoyable to watch and hilarious, and the music that plays when SpongeBob and the jellyfish he brings home are having a party is very catchy that it makes me wanna dance to it and use the same moves they make. And the scenes where the jellyfish are invading SpongeBob's home and Squidward getting stung by them for playing his clarinet badly and not understanding SpongeBob's situation were the funniest of this episode. Even the music that SpongeBob and Gary were playing to get the jellyfish back to Jellyfish Fields was pretty catchy.
Honorable mentions: Fry Cook Games, Plankton's Army, and Band Geeks
Least Favourite Episode: SpongeBob, You're Fired
I already talked about this in my Top 20 Hated/Least Favourite Episodes of SpongeBob, but to make this short, the episode was boring, mean, and showed a very bad lesson about unemployment. Not to mention that SpongeBob was fired by Mr. Krabs for a damn nickel! I hated the episodes "One Coarse Meal" and "A Pal For Gary", but this one takes the cake as one of my least favourite episodes of all time in any cartoon. To see the full rant, check it out here because I have so many reasons to hate this episode. www.deviantart.com/blackwolfst…
Dishonorable mentions: Good Neighbours, Boating Buddies, The Card, A Pal For Gary, Big Sister Sam, and One Coarse Meal
Most Okay Episode: Squirrel Jokes
Even though it was mean when the Bikini Bottomites were making fun of Sandy after hearing SpongeBob's jokes about squirrels, at least it was well-written compared to how she was treated in "Someone's In The Kitchen With Sandy", and SpongeBob learns his lesson about the jokes when Sandy pretends to be dumb like how he describes squirrels in his jokes, and he starts telling better insult comedy in the end. While it does have some moments of people being jerks, especially Patrick, it does teach us a valuable lesson that while it is okay to tell jokes about people and life, it's not okay to make jokes that are hurtful and insulting to them and we need to know when to stop.
Most Forgettable Episode: Waiting
This was all just a boring plot of SpongeBob standing next to his mailbox waiting for his free toy in the mail, and all the waiting for his toy makes him neglect a lot of things in his life like feeding Gary, and he misses out on a lot of things like Karate with Sandy and his own birthday party which Patrick didn't bother telling him about. When SpongeBob finally gets his toy in the end and Patrick "breaks" it, which its supposed to do, SpongeBob goes into a tantrum and blames Patrick until Squidward reluctantly solved their problem by "fixing" the toy. The episode was just too boring to watch with SpongeBob doing nothing but waiting at his mailbox almost the whole episode.
Favourite Episode that focused on your favourite of the Main Cast: Gary Takes A Bath
With the main cast of this episode being SpongeBob and Gary, the former being one of my favourites from the first three seasons of SpongeBob before the new writers changed him after the first movie and the latter being one of my favourite pet characters, the comedy between these two was just hilarious with SpongeBob's attempts to get Gary into the bathtub either failing or going wrong in very comedic ways. In a word, this is just the whole "Pet Sitter Pat" plot done way better! Not to mention Mr. Krabs' brief cameo in this episode was just as funny as the whole thing.
Honorable mentions: Suds, Survival of the Idiots, and Pressure
Favourite Krusty Krab Episode: Help Wanted
While "Employee of the Month" is a favorite episode of mine focused on the Krusty Krab, the honor goes to this episode. Not only is this the first Krusty Krab episode, it's also the very first episode of the series, which makes it one of the best episodes in my opinion. From Patrick's support towards SpongeBob that shows how much of a true best friend he was at the beginning of the show, to the comedy that includes SpongeBob's "exercise" using weights with stuffed animals at the end and the part where the hundreds of anchovies wreak havoc in the Krusty Krab and SpongeBob uses the spatula that Mr. Krabs tricks him into going out to buy but it turns out to exist to make all those Krabby Patties to feed them, and "Livin' In The Sunlight, Lovin' In The Moonlight" by Tiny Tim made the scene even more enjoyable. In a nutshell, everything about this episode is what makes this my favorite Krusty Krab episode.
Honorable mentions: Employee of the Month and Graveyard Shift
Favourite Jellyfishing Episode: I'm Your Biggest Fanatic
The reason this is one of my favourites is because it never fails to make me laugh! Every time SpongeBob catches a jellyfish, it keeps stinging Kevin the Sea Cucumber in certain parts of his body (nose, butt, lips, eyes, etc...) and the Jellyspotters would do the "Wa wa waaa" sound, which makes it even funnier. It even teaches a valuable lesson that sometimes the people we idolize so much aren't the amazing people they are in reality, as shown when SpongeBob idolizes Kevin so much but it turns out that Kevin's an arrogant jerk who just wanted to embarrass SpongeBob, and also a coward when he, SpongeBob, and the Jellyspotters were under attack by King Jellyfish.
Honorable mentions: Jellyfishing and Jellyfish Hunter
Favourite Boating School Episode: Boating School
Of all the Boating School episodes, I enjoyed this one as much as "No Free Rides". Before they got out of hand in the future Boating School episodes, I laugh at SpongeBob's failed attempt at getting his license behind the wheel, and Mrs. Puff puffs up and says in a deep voice "Oh, SpongeBob! Why?!" I even liked how Patrick wants to help SpongeBob finally pass his boating exams and get his license before they find out that what they were doing was cheating right before SpongeBob crosses the finish line. Some of the scenes that included Patrick telling SpongeBob to "act natural" and he starts eating grass like a cow were funny, too.
Honorable mentions: No Free Rides
Favourite Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy Episode: Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy
I grew up loving the first five Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy episodes, but this is the one I grew up with the most. The episode was pretty entertaining from SpongeBob and Patrick pretending to be Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy at the beginning of the episode, to SpongeBob and Patrick's attempts to try and get their heroes out of retirement, ending with Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy getting rid of SpongeBob and Patrick that gives them the motivation to come out of retirement. Also, that face Barnacle Boy makes when he says "It's not me, you old coot!" never fails to make me laugh!
Honorable Mentions: Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy IV and Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V
Favourite Episode from the "Classic" Seasons: Karate Choppers
SpongeBob and Sandy's karate moments were a hoot to watch, and my favorite ones were when SpongeBob calls Sandy and tries to karate chop her through the phone, and Sandy tries to force SpongeBob into giving up by threatening to put hot sauce on it, only for his tongue to be a fake and get back at her, but she still gains the upper hand in the end with SpongeBob flying through the air yelling "Curses!". And in the end after Mr. Krabs tells him to do no more karate or he's fired from his job since it was getting in the way of his work and harming customers, he and Sandy use their karate to make hundreds of sandwiches at the park, and they end up using their karate to make Krabby Patties. I always found this episode hilarious and fun to watch.
Honorable mentions: Bubblestand and Culture Shock
Favourite Episode from the "Modern" Seasons: Skill Crane
I found this "Modern" episode very enjoyable and SpongeBob is still his original self and shows real concern over Squidward for his obsession with the claw machine after he spends all his money, and at least Mr. Krabs is making money the honest way using the claw machine, even though he does take advantage of Squidward's obsession to win a prize. After Squidward finally wins a stuffed animal thanks to SpongeBob giving him good advice on winning it, he lets his arrogance and pride get the better of him and it gets on everyone's nerves, but he does learn his lesson in the end when he destroys the Krusty Krab and a bunch of guys are about to beat him up for destroying the mall they were working so hard on that went to waste when it gets destroyed. It's because of this episode that I want to try SpongeBob's "be the crane" trick on some claw machines sometimes.
Honorable mentions: The Lost Mattress and Selling Out
Guilty Pleasure Episode: Breath of Fresh Squidward
I dislike this episode because of SpongeBob and Patrick's usual routine of stalking Squidward and breaking into his house while he's asleep. But the only thing I do like about this episode is that Squidward is actually happy for once, and SpongeBob finally gets a taste of his own medicine when Squidward becomes too clingy and too nice to him, and he now knows how it feels to be in Squidward's shoes when he's stalking or annoying him.
Episode you love that everyone else hates: Salsa Imbecilicus
I get that people don't like this episode because of how Plankton's plan goes or the concept of the idea of everyone in Bikini Bottom, including SpongeBob, turning into idiots who are as dumb as Patrick, all except for Sandy and Karen who have to make everyone smart again by sending them to school. But to me, this feels like a family friendly version of the movie "Idiocracy", and I think it has some bits of comedy in here, including how Sandy and Karen are trying to make Plankton smart again and Plankton turning into a delinquent. I respect people's opinions on this episode, but I think this episode was pretty funny in my opinion.
Episode you hate that everyone else loves: A Day Without Tears
I don't understand why people like this episode, but I will respect that they like it. The start of the episode is pretty annoying with SpongeBob constantly crying over the littlest things like stubbing his toe or ripping one of his shirts, and Squidward points out that he does cry so much that he makes a wager that he can't go a whole day without crying. I think Squidward's plan to get SpongeBob to lose his bet is a clever idea, I just don't like the idea of an episode based on a bet to go a whole day without crying, especially with how annoying SpongeBob is when he cries now unless we're supposed to feel bad for him.
Episode others love but you think its just good/okay: Rock-A-Bye Bivalve
I know this is a fan favorite episode, but to me, it's just okay. I like the idea of SpongeBob and Patrick trying to raise a baby scallop and Patrick just sitting on his ass all day while SpongeBob does all the work taking care of Junior the baby scallop, but I think it would have also worked if one of their friends also helped out, and I have nothing against people who think of SpongeBob and Patrick as a gay couple in this episode, just to clear things up. Also, no offense to those who find it funny, but I find SpongeBob's face when he says "overtime" a bit creepy, and it's just to hard to get out of my head most of the time every time I see it or remember it. Overall, I think it's okay to me.
Episode you didn't like at first but then you changed your mind: Greasy Buffoons
When I first watched this episode, I thought it was a little gross with all the grease scenes, since I get easily grossed out by grease being poured out of a can or if it gets spilled all over me. But after watching the episode again, it started making me laugh at a few scenes of some of the characters slipping on the grease, and SpongeBob actually does the right thing in this episode when Mr. Krabs and Plankton's rivalry over selling their greasy stuff was getting out of hand by calling the health inspector and putting an end to it. After watching it a few more times, I think this episode was a good episode, it's not bad or great, but it's still very enjoyable. It also shows that while it's okay to add grease to food while cooking it for flavoring sometimes (my dad uses bacon grease to flavor our chicken dinners, so it's okay), it's not a good thing to eat pure grease or you'll get very sick.
Favourite TV Special: Ugh
I like some episodes/shows and movies that focus on Prehistoric times like Land Before Time or with stuff related to dinosaurs like Jurassic Park, and this special was very funny in its own way. I enjoyed the comedy between SpongeGar, Patar, and Squog and the montage of them eating everything in sight after cooking it over the fire, and their squabble over who keeps the fire after that. As for the Patchy the Pirate segment, I thought it was pretty amusing with Patchy and Potty arguing over which era is better, past or future, and the ending with Patchy and the T. Rex was hilarious!
Honorable mentions: Dunces and Dragons, Have You Seen This Snail?, and Goodbye, Krabby Patty?.
Least Favourite TV Special: Whatever Happened To SpongeBob? (a.k.a WhoBob Whatpants)
The beginning was very mean-spirited because Patrick, Squidward, Sandy, and Mr. Krabs all call SpongeBob "idiot boy" just for causing some accidents and cause him to leave Bikini Bottom and end up in New Kelp City, and the amnesia he gets is pretty pointless in the episode, and Squidward is an even bigger jerk in this episode than Patrick is in the "modern" episodes and doesn't even want SpongeBob back, and SpongeBob didn't do anything bad in this episode to deserve this kind of treatment from everyone. Plus, the people of New Kelp City are scared of bubbles all because a group of bubble haters called "The Bubble Poppin' Boys" beat up people just for blowing bubbles, which is a completely stupid idea, and SpongeBob gets made into mayor right off the bat for running them out of town. This episode could have been better without the whole amnesia thing and everyone hating SpongeBob just for causing simple accident.
Dishonorable mentions: Truth or Square and Atlantis Squarepantis
Favourite Holiday Episode: It's A SpongeBob Christmas!
When this special came on a few years ago, my stepmom and I loved it the second we watched it, and it's been our favourite Christmas special ever since. I loved how they used the animation they used in the classic Christmas specials like "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer", and the story was enjoyable too. The songs were great and I thought Plankton's plot to ruin Christmas for everyone and be the only one off of Santa's naughty list was very creative when he taints fruitcake (which is ironically the worst thing to eat on Christmas in real life) with a substance called "Jerktonium" to make them into jerks. I even liked how they made the Patchy the Pirate part of the episode in stop-motion too. In my opinion, this is by far the best holiday episode they're made in the series.
Honorable mentions: Scaredy Pants and Legend of Boo-kini Bottom
Least Favourite Holiday Special: N/A
I actually enjoyed all the holiday episodes that I don't see any bad ones so far. So, I have nothing to talk about in this section.

I kinda hated Skill Crane because I felt so bad for Squidward and mr. Krabs was a shithead (well, he always is).

I agree those are good lists for those episodes.
For me other than having the most hated episode, my personal one was "Gone" for when everyone in Bikini Bottom abandons SpongeBob for two whole days and when Mrs Puff is in jail.
But in that one, I laughed at the bits in the end and with the little blurb of the fish in "everyday life".
Wife: Coming to bed, honey?
Fish: Yes, dear...
There were a bunch of episodes I loved from the first three seasons and some good ones in the later seasons after the first movie.
Although "A Day Without Tears" made me laugh, a pretty fun episode was a new one where Gary has a special collar that makes him talk and you wouldn't believe who does the voice of Gary collar.

Thanks.
I think SpongeBob mentioned that they've been gone for weeks, but I agree with you on that episode. I wasn't that fond of "Doing Time" myself, but at least some parts were kinda funny.
The first three seasons were great with only a few bad episodes, and the modern seasons had mostly bad episodes with some rare good ones.
I loved that episode with Gary's talking collar, and I know who the actor is; Keith David! I just couldn't stop imagining either Goliath or Dr. Facilier speaking for Gary throughout the episode, especially when Squidward was pretending to be the talking collar to get back at SpongeBob.

You're welcome.
One of the episodes that had me in hysterics were "Gary Takes a Bath", "Chocolate With Nuts", "Just One Bite", "Suds", and a couple of others.
Me too! When I saw the episode, my jaw dropped and I couldn't stop grinning when I was thinking to myself, "OH MY GOSH, IT'S HIM! IT'S KEITH DAVID!" I couldn't imagine if Goliath or Dr. Facilier for Gary's voice like that and when Squidward was insulted for his tastes in art, TV, and house decor.
As a nod to Aliens, it would be pretty neat if in The Simpsons, Family Guy, or even SpongeBob had a guest actor as a hard-core character.
HINT:
1. He's played an Android who did this crazy knife trick
2. He was in a bunch of video games, but mainly known as Admiral Hackett from Mass Effect
2. He was also the voice of Kerchak from Tarzan

All of those were the best in my opinion, but it's "Suds" and "Gary Takes A Bath" that never fail to make me laugh.
Ooh! Either one of those would be cool for Lance Henrikson to guest star in. For SpongeBob, I imagine that he could be either a cop or even an old friend of Mr. Krabs from the Navy or his days as a pirate.

Oh, almost forgot "Pizza Delivery!"
I was bummed when they edited the bit in "Just One Bite" out where Squidward goes into the Krusty Krab, then a bucket of water falls down and then a match appears showing that the water was actually gas before Squidwards gets set on fire: twice. I was bummed when I got my third season DVD to find if the scene is in, but sadly it wasn't.
The scene that should be deleted was that horrific toenail ripping off from Squidward; that nearly made me sick to my stomach.
I was thinking the same thing! I bet he'd make a neat character as an old Navy friend/enemy of Mr Krabs, a cop, or even a driver coach that would finally allow SpongeBob to pass with flying colors.
For Simpsons, maybe he'd appear as himself or as a cop, mobster for Fat Tony undercover, or as a bad-ass teacher in place of Edna Krabappel.
Although I did see an episode on American Dad where Lance Henriksen played as a bowling coach for Steve.

How could I ever forget that?!
"The Krusty Krab Pizza, is the pizza, for you and me!"
Oh, God! That part was hilarious! I remember seeing it on TV when I was younger. But that's a shame it's not shown on DVD.
You and me both! JESUS CHRIST, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?! I hate how they made SpongeBob so stupid in that episode and rip Squidward's toe off!

The parts where they back the car off and with the tornado made me laugh so hard.
Squidward: WHO CARES ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS?!
SpongeBob: (blowing around in the storm with pizza box) I DO!
Squidward: WELL, I DON'T!
SpongeBob: (stops and gasps) Squidward! (blows away more)
I know what you mean by those two; the first had me laugh so hard I thought I got more muscle to my core (ab area).
The toenail incident was horrific I can't even watch it, almost like watching Pimple Poppers...

Yeah, and the bit in "The Paper" with the mini Squidward was hilarious.
Squidward: Hey, little Squidward! What's gray and ugly with six arms?
Mini Squidward: I dunno, but have you looked in the mirror lately?
Whoa, that one was insanely weird.
The one with Patrick's bubble gum was nuts, but funny.
I kinda have a feeling of not only bringing my old fanfics back as well as my parodies, but MAYBE even some of the old one-shot spoofs I did on SpongeBob, Ed Edd n Eddy, Three Stooges, That 70s Show, Simpsons, and Friends.
