Maxwell takes Ares out into the court yard where the garden long since dried up since his mother left,he leads him though the garden and into the training area for Dark soldiers. Ares drags his feet reluctant for another "training lesson" his father so calls it when really its just another beating until Ares fighting back with his curse,he still has a hard time fully using it and felt the fight in him has long since left since the death of Kaylee and negative comments from Maxwell. Ares just scared to die and followed along but its been months and he felt like just giving up and joining Kaylee. What's the point in living with your parent if your treated like dirt but the thought of death made Ares quiver in fear. Maxwell stops and looks at Ares,"Use your curse and fight me",Ares looked surprised,"Where are the others I-I though-"Maxwell yells impatiently,"It's time you take me on you tiny worm!!Its been months are your curse is just a weak glow,fireflies shine brighter!! Its time you step up or I'll step on you!!" Ares glanced to the ground frustrated and mad thinking to himself,"Step up?!You threaten to kill me if I dont follow you,I dont even get to choose!!Kaylee didnt get to choose!!Why does anyone follow my old man,HE'S HORRIBLE!!",Ares sighs and nods and takes his place to fight. Maxwell charges at him and Ares jumps out the way only to be kicked from the side sending him rolling,Maxwell snapped,"Get up!I barley hit you!". Ares' gut hurt and knew another bruise would appear,staggering up Maxwell didnt give him the chance and pushed him over repeating,"Use your curse!Use it!!" Ares's wanted to attack Maxwell but just couldn't,he lied limp on the ground groaning. Maxwell growls,"You worthless....*scoffs*you know what....Im going to have you train under more Dark Soldiers,maybe they can beat you until you die....you'd like to join her huh?? Your little sister??"Ares eyes glowed red and leaped at Maxwell,"SHUT U-",Maxwell used his curse and smacked Ares down with ease,"Your 10 times too young to fight me...go clean off before you enter my castle,I dont want your worthless pelt tracking in dust", Ares picked himself up and walked away in a limp. Ares looked back in anger but then he saw his father staring at the dried up garden,like in a distance memory when the rose bush flourished and mom was still there.....when everything was ok...Ares remembered when Maxwell and his mother where in the garden happy,it was faint memory but it was there,with Kaylee too....Maxwell's heart has dried up like the garden since mom died

Ares thought,"Maybe that's why he's bitter,he's trying to make me tough so I dont get hurt with emotions....if im heartless like him I wont hurt anymore....". Maxwell stared into it with bitterness and Ares felt bad for his father,"I take it all back....I understand why he's like this,he will never change and....and that's ok...I forgive you dad",Ares turns to walk away now feeling happier admitting it. From the corner of Maxwell eye he saw Ares' eyes turn blue and the curse changed color,in fury and fear he yells and Ares stops cold in his tracks in dread by the sound of his tone,"ARES YOUR EYES!!!"

Maxwell:"ARES!!YOUR EYES!!"

Ok I had this theory about how the curses work and their purpose for a long time so please bare with me if this is too long

Lights Power(Lunis): Glows blue when activated, no actual great unique trait but it counters the dark's curse

Dark's Curse: Glows red, transform to a demon as far as we know(Jackson),and can be used against Lights(Lunis)

Darks Curse_ As we know this curse is pasted down and normal the person who pass it down is family related or somewhat "royals" to the Darks. The curse is seemed to pass down from parent to their child(possible missing generation could have been females). So it seem the curse is only used on kin but from what we see the parent is eager to pass down the curse to their child to make them"stronger". The curse may or may not transform the host like Jackson. Well it seems that the Dark royals force their child to have these curses and after a long chain of anger and cruel parenting the cycle never breaks,causing child to give into their cruel ways and repeat the cycle without knowing it.

The reason for these cruel acts is to keep the curse flowing strong,there is a steady stream of crueler and eviler kings of the darks and LEADING to Jackson's transformation,no other king could transform their curse into a demon like Jackson could making Jackson's curse at the peak of full power. Jackson's curse if controlled properly and giving into more anger and cruel ways could be the weapon the previous kings have been leading up to,forcing their children to take on this curse and knowingly treating them bad and pushing their button to max out the curse each generation,like literally breeding to make the curse better each time. Forcing there child to become evil and angry pushes them to be better than their parents and maxing out the curse each time,so in the beginning let's say the power is at 48% because the king had somewhat good moral,they would never max out their curse in fear of using it to hurt others. Now lets say a Light soldier kills the king's..ehh..wife...bride..lover...the anger and rage pushes the power up to 68% . The more anger and the less you care about who gets hurt increases the usage of the curse maxing out the limits,when passing on the curse of 68% to their child,they can force the percentage to rise if they push their child and make them heartless or anger pushing the power to 78-88%. As the cycle continues the maxing out levels will be around 108% and more....their will be a point were the curse is to powerful for even the Lights. Jackson maybe the 108% but is not using the max power because he wasn't raised by Aries or forced to felt anger or be heartless.

So the Darks planned to max out their curses though a long time of cruel and evil acts,there is reason for the "evil" going on so not all darks are evil,they are just the result of a long chain of cursed kings trying to max out their curses so one one kind hearted child could ruin this long process the previous Dark Kings who passed their curses down though generations could be all wasted

Lets talk about Lights before I say more....

Light's Power: As we know Lunis is the only one to have blue glowing eyes,the royal wear gems around them. During some episodes Apollo and Augustine ask for a necklace but claim not to have anymore,Augustine works and his a "bit upset" about losing it and makes a fuss. "No More"...where did they come from??? Well...I have an theory for that as well. Jackson maybe the result of maxing out the curses power making a "demon"....Lights have powers to counter Darks....who's to say that maxing out Light's Power doesnt make a "Angel"like power?? My guess is that long time ago,to keep the welder of the Light Power from going corrupt like the Darks,used 40% power to keep and 60% to make necklaces for the royals and others. This made the Lights more peaceful and humble,they had some power to protect themselves. As the Light Power is just passes by child to child with no need to increase the power they gain more power in courageous acts of selflessness or defensing their kingdom,the more they protect and use their power for good the power increases over time.

The Necklaces_ Because they hold a link to the Light Power welder,If the welder is weak,the strength of the necklace users can aid them with a burst of power or if the necklace user is weak,the Light Power welder can aid them. A cycle of fair power within the kingdom as long as they dont get corrupt and becomes greedy. A long time ago a Light Power welder was at max power but divided the power to their people and their max power dropped down to 20%(keep in mind that this must have been a risky way to transfer power and used the other 20% to stay alive during the process),the next Light Power welder was at 40%....Someone with maxed power gave it up to insure their people would be safe and that the new welder wouldn't be given max power,making them humble and earn their power.

Corrupt Light Power_In episode 5( www.youtube.com/watch?v=gy2WhD… ),when Lunis is filled with anger and rage her eyes glow red but still blue,she quickly feels regret and her eyes are blue again. Could the Light Power go corrupt?? YES! Why? Let me explain....

Darks use cruel ways to max out their power for SELFISH reasons where as Light Power users use is SELFLESSLY to protect their home. If Light Power users start selfishly or uses their power to hurt other for no reason,the power loses it blue glow and fades to red glow,the more you give in to anger and rage the blue light dies,if the blue light dies then so does the necklaces that keep the citzens safe. That is why Lights are good and fair rulers,they have a system to keep them from getting power hungry. Fighting the Darks makes them stronger because they fight to protect their homes and kingdom so as time goes on they get stronger against the Darks' attacks unknowingly.

Dark Curse is not bad???_Ok I stated that if one kind hearted child can ruin the whole Dark's plan and I explained that Light Power can be corrupted....if a blue light can fade to red glow....why not the other way around?? Ares was SO CLOSE to be a evil ruler but with Kaylee around he could have easily be the kind cat. In episode 6( www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QNy0D… ),Maxwell hits Ares to a wall and Ares tries to be brave and look strong,you can see he looks pleased and waits for a reaction from his son,Kaylee tries to help Aries and Maxwell becomes upset from her trying to reassure her brother that "you dont NEED to be strong to be brave". For Maxwell trying to max out his son's curse,Kaylee threats everything his pass users worked for,he stops Kaylee and discuss what to do with her. They speak about "kittens of her own",she's young...why are they thinking about this....OH RIGHT...She can receive a curse and pass it to her kittens and raise the WELL thus ruining the practice of maxing out curses. Maxwell must have got rid of their mother because she must have tried to raise her kits kind and well....another reason why Aries mother is no longer there,she was messing with the future holder of the Dark Curse. When Aries sees Maxwell and runs off,Maxwell had to chase him down to see what Aries now thinks,Aries cries out that Kaylee was useful and "could have saved us from you",Maxwell rips his ear and says,"If you dont start acting like ME,you'll end up like your sister or mother". Meaning Maxwell will kill off Aries and start all over with a new mate and new kits,Aries yells out "YES!!" then Maxwell says,"Things are about to change around here....are you ready??". Could be hinting Aries may have received his curse.

It shows a lot of pressure for a son to be JUST LIKE HIM, so if that's the case,Aries must be evil and heartless but Aries wavers,he remembers his sister's kindness and has rage for killing her,he knows how to be nice and care but out of habit under his father's supervision when he was younger he unknowingly acts like his father and only maxes out his curse when something emotional gets to him. If Aries learns to forgive his father and starts acting selflessly his curse could fade blue like when Lunis gave into anger and rage towards her adoptive mother and her blue eyes started to glow half and half.

CONCLUSION: The curses and Light Powers are the same thing,two had the exact power and one was selfish making it glow red,the other was selfless and the power glowed blue. Over a long time the power was used negatively and positively. Negative use makes the holder power reach "Demon FORM"at max power. Positive use of the power makes the holder reach "Angel FORM" at max power.

Over a long period off time the powers and curses seemed to be two completely different powers but it actually the same thing but the information was lost though history,A Dark named Romulus found this knowledge and decided to use this information to make the Darks stronger than the Lights.

Dark Curse: Negative uses may reach power quicker but one must lose themselves to anger and cruel ways,You will never be the same.
Light Blessing: Positive uses may reach enlightenment slowly but you will be so strong you can give away your power to those in need, You will give it all away.
