Description
This is a painting I wanted to make since.... April this year
But unfortunately I was busy with my final school exams at this time. Yeah, and after the exam in art I was demotivated to paint a dancer because this was also the theme of the exam xDD
While painting this, I found out that I have no tiny brushes anymore o.o So I will buy new ones tomorrow and maybe overworking the tiny parts of this painting, like the hands and the face... I will see, depends on my motivation
Doooon't complain on the anatomy, I know it sucks, but I am working on improving my anatomy skills^^

I had a reference...but I don't know from where I got it anymore, so if you know it just tell me in the comments
Oh, and there are some lines in the painting because I made a mistake... on the original painting they are not that visible though.

This is great! Both the dancer's pose and the colours you used are very dynamic, so they go great together!
I've always wanted to try to paint a dancer, but the bar is kinda high here.

Dank der Haltung und der Farben musste ich an eine Flamenco-Tänzerin denken...
Das Kleid löst sich hinter der Frau in ein regelrechtes Flammenmeer auf, wie bei einem Phönix der seine Federn hinter sich herzieht.
Ein krasser Kontrast dazu ist die (viel zu?) helle Haut und das weiße Haar...
Eine Assoziation zum Thema Tod?
Wie auch immer: Es regt unheimlich zum Nachdenken an und verblüfft gleichzeitig durch Wärme und Eiseskälte.

Thehe, an Flamencotänzerin habe ich auch ein wenig gedacht, mus sich gestehen

Total cool, besonders gut gefällt mir die fast weiße Haut, super Kontrast zum roten Feuer. Das Kleid und das Feuer gehen ineinander über, sehr schöne Idee. Sie scheint im Feuer zu stehen, bewahrt aber trotzdem Haltung. Weil sie muß ? Oder weil sie stur ist ? Oder merkt es nicht ??? Oder kommt das Feuer aus ihr ? Wie auch immer- sehr ausdruckstarkes Bild wieder.

Jaaa, die weiße Haut...ich wollte halt nicht alles ganz so Ton in Ton haben und etwas mehr Kotnraste einbauen... deshalb auch die weißen Haare
Da ich mir heute neue Pinsel (und dabei auch einen gaaaaaaanz Kleinen) gekauft habe, werde ich das Bild vllt noch ein wenig überarbeiten, das Gesicht, die Haare und die Hände gefallen mir noch nicht so ganz, da war mein Pinsel nicht fein genug

I actually reallllyy like that anatomy isn't perfect realism. This makes this so more emotive!

Thehe, seems like we have the same favourite colours
I use acrylics by the brands Lukas and Schmincke, and yes, I mix them on palette mostly, because I just use the primary colours, a dark blue colour and white.
