Do you noticed something? I finished it!
This drawing featuring Edward and Bella (Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart) of the Twilight Series is for 's Twilight Fanart Contest
I put so much work into it, I really hope you like it!
I am not completely satisfied with it, the likeness is not as good as I hoped they would be, but I must say, I kinda like it that my drawing does not look exactly like the reference, I think it makes it a bit special
I know Edward's skin is not really lighter than Bellas, I had some problems with it, Edward is really a bitch!
His skin was really very difficult, most of the time doing this drawing I spent for his skin -.-
So now I can make the shading tutorial, I haven't forgotten it, but I wanted to finish this first, (particularly because it is baes on this drawing^^).
Tell me if it is to dark on your screen, I have an LCD and in most cases they are a bit lighter than normal monitor

Materials:
-diverse pencils (2H, F, 2B, 8B and 9B)
-mechanical pencils (2B, HB)
-erasers (normal and mostly pencil erasers)
-white acrylic for the highlights
-coloured pencils for Edwards eyes
- smooth drawing paper
Time: Dunno... I think between around 35 hours, could be more or less, at least I can say this took me much more time than all my other drawings

Haha, me too, I also like dark artworks! Currently I am working on a mermaid, this is also quite dark

I can#t wait to finish it, but it takes it time... I just suck at drawing backgrounds >.<

And I suck at shading big areas (included background as well), so my work usually is detailed and that's nerve wrecking too

Hehe, I also don't like really shading big areas, although I am able to do that by now... but for my mermaid I have to think of what I bring into the background so that it looks more real and life like, but I am just too lazy for that

Is your mermaid going to be in the sea? You could draw night sky with dark clouds or something

Yeah, it is in the sea, that means under the water, so I can't draw a sky, which would have been quite easy I think...hmm, I made some rocks and stuff in the background, I will see what I can add... so because it is under the water there is not really the challenge of drawing water xD

Oh I don't think she needs to be surrounded by dangerous animals, I was just think of one or two sharks in the background

I will see what fits and what not fits, of course there will be corals and fishes and stuff like that, and if there is enough place and if it looks good, there will be also a shark

This is an awesome drawing! I don't like Twilight, but since there are pictures of these guys everywhere I could recognize who they were right away. You have an excellent technique with pencils.

Wow, I'm very much not a Twilight fan or follower in any way, but I'm very glad I stumbled across this piece! The mood is great and the skin is absolute perfection... I love the textures in it, you make it look so incredible! You are an inspiration to me and I hope to be able to match your skill one day - you inspire me to draw draw draw!

Wow thats really awsome. That looks alot like RObert Pattinson, I think the lips on Kristen Stewart are little to big for her lips. But otherwise awsome picture.
