The Shikai is a gladius, and the Bankai is a machete? Hope the Zanpakuto is powerful enough to make up for its reach...

as far as i know, bankai makes everything XXXL (exept for ichigo, exception) so the machete would be like 3m long

That was the idea. Except the shikai; thats just a combination of two types of greek swords.
