Description
Page 8. Well, that was a nice little break. I probably would of had this done sooner but I've been playing Mass Effect and, well, ............. yeah; Anyways, I really enjoyed drawing this page, as this is the only kind of sword I know how to use properly, so I hope everybody likes it! my faveorites are madu and gupti aga. madu looks battle worn and like it has a certain beauty to it, and gupti aga has no hanguard, but the crossguard helps your hand from slipping up

I think I like these the best, my favorite would have to be Djinn Flyssa. That's pretty much what I imagine when I hear the word rapier. FFTA must be a very in depth game to have so many of each weapon, is it a good game?

I have to agree with you about djinn flyssa; if I were actually going to use one of these I'd pick that one. Also, it's a very good game; maybe not quite as good as the original, but still very good.

Nice, glad we think alike! You mentioned you've trained with these as well? Thanks for letting me know about the game. I've been thinking about gettin a DS, and I've been looking for some good games for it.

Some training; I know the basic principles of attack and defense pretty well and a few more advanced forms. also, what type of games do you like? I have an SP, so I mite be able to recommend something.

That's cool. I'm always facinated by swordplay. It looks like it'd be kind of easy, but I know better. I once had a playfight with my friend taking lessons, and well...it was more play than fight for sure. For the SP I'm into puzzle and strategy games. I'm looking for something to carry with me on flights and carrides for this summer's travels.

Well, the Final Fantasy tactics games are good. I here that the first Disgaea is on the DS now. I have the PS2 version and it's extremely good(also kind of strange). If you can find Tactics Ogre I highly recommend it. I hope this helps you.

Madu and Epeprism; I prefer swords without bulky handguards to get in the way.

No hand guard on a rapier? Blasphemy I say!(runs away screaming "heretic")

One, rapiers don't necessarily need handguards; they're main defining feature is the fact that they're double-edged. Sabers, on the other hand, have full handguards enclosing the hand.
And two, I said bulky and in the way. I'm all for protecting my hands, but not if it keeps me from using the weapon right.

I'll concede the point. I have an Estoc that's a simple cruciform; but (for me at least) no hand guard equals bruised and split knuckles.

Let me put it this way; I prefer a knuckle guard that has no chance of touching the wrist.

I see your point. I suppose I just depends on what you're use to. I got a question for ya; The next page is the katanas. Do you think I should draw a unique tsuba for each one?

Yeah. Try to make them fit the theme of the sword, though.

I'm glad you like them. Last letter just sort of randomly turned out that way.
