Description A vinyl kit of the Rancor as seen in Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi. Basic colors were airbrushed and a dark acrylic gel wash was added to darken the creases in the skin and add depth. Further drybrushing was done to bring out the highlights. Drool was made from heated and stretched clear plastic and drips were formed with glue added to the end of the clear plastic.

Excellent work on your Rancor here, both on the model itself and with your photography of this model. I understand what you feel about the loss of your friend. It's tough for certain. I've had a fair number of pets myself over the years and it is never easy when the pass on. Just hold him in your heart and he'll always be there. Life does go on and so must we. That's incredible sculpture. Really well done, your skills are highly admired - from mastery of unique/alien anatomy to texturing of skin and muscle to realistic painting of surface tones and colors.
