Duskull
The Requiem Pokemon

The name comes from a combination of the words Dusk and Skull.

It is said that it loves the crying of children, and torments those who misbehave. It chases its prey relentlessly, and feeds off their life force while delivering a deathly chill to those it feeds upon. It is also said this Pokemon takes bad children and spirits them away.

These claims appear to have originated from an ancient folktale of a Duskull whose cloak was stained red with those it successfully hunted. This legend has led to the common belief that all Duskull cannot be trusted near children. However, recent studies have shown that its relentless chasing behavior was developed as a defense against early human attacks, and while they do feed on the life force of others, they do not do so in a way that is dangerous. There is research in the community which may indicate its draw towards children is due to their lack of prejudice against it, rather than a preference in taste. However, it is too soon to say whether or not this hypothesis is true.
