I wanted to actually do more fanart, and take a side break from my current project <.< so i decided to do one of Toph after looking through some of her on here. so basically its how i'd think Toph should look growing up^^ the images from great artists, which i used for the designs.Teen from

hmmm over 100 views in 2 days. goes to show how much better fanart seem to be when i draw <.< and 3 comments shows how much people arent interested in my style. oh well, see hwat kind of reactions i'll get for future fanart.

I recently became a big "last airbender" fan and Toph has quickly become my favorite char. I really like the character design for her teenage version.

First of all, I really like this picture. Why? Because I really really like it when Toph is drawn as being tall when she's grown up.
It makes sense. I mean, Earth Kingdom people are shown as being much larger on average than the other three nations (espicially Air Nomads, judging by Aang), and it only makes sense that someone with an attitude as big as Toph's would grow to match it.
Teen Toph looks freakin' awesome. It's the long coat. Badass Longcoats are awesome. Teen Toph and Preteen Toph look like they want to gang up on Adult Toph, though she'd obviously whup them both. The other thing tougher than two Tophs is an adult Toph.
Also? Looks like Toph mellowed out a bit when she grew up. Being around Aang all the time had to have SOME side effect, yeah?

I love how calm and mellow her oldest self looks in comparison to the fierce attitude the younger ones: like she's matured or something. It's funny how she's ruffling the middle one's hair, too, nice touch.

Ya know both of the older versions open a whole lot of storylines and potential dialogue!
Makes me wish they would come out with a series of epilogue episodes. I'd do 'em, but I've already got several webcomic ideas I havn't even started.

I love this, the only thing is... as a Blind girl, I doubt she'll ever care about how her hair looks. I believe the Hair over her Eyes was a sign of Blindness, so removing it just looks a little weird.

This is pretty good. Teen Toph looks like more of a scrapper than her kid self, and the adult Toph looks like she's over fighting with that grin on her face, or maybe it's just nostalga looking at her younger selves.

the middle toph looks like the cute silent type and the oldest looks like a tomboy but still good job

I like all the designs very much, from clothing to facial omposition. However, I personally feel Toph probably wouldn't get much taller than the teenager you drew. I liked the idea of her being a lot of power in a little body.

I hope it's either a prequel dating into some very ancient event, or a generational sequel. But if they use a character design that good I wouldn't complain.
