No character is bad. You just need to learn to control them, know their strenght and weaknesses. In the end, its all about skills

Your ideology is stupid, bad characters already exists in smash bros, like MagicScrumpy said, bad characters are bad because they lack good tools compared to better characters, and their weaknesses are too exploitable, this is why tiers list exists, and even when people that are pros play low tier characters, they usually lacks good results in tournaments because they are limited by their character, very few low tiers in smash bros have hidden potential and can place high in tournaments, such as Yoshi in Melee thanks to aMSa, a japanese player that develop the hidden aspects and streghts of the character, but compared to Yoshi, Roy is bad because he can do nearly nothing against good characters, he is so weak, for example his combo game is bad and very limited, his aerials have poor knockback and his hitboxes sucks.
Skill is only part of the performance of characters at high level play, but in the end, only some characters are viable, others are useless, just watch this video, this explains why Roy is unquestionable bad:

Omfg another one. Listen kid, I have seen people doing amazing things with those low tier characters. Sure, they don't participate in big tournaments, but they showed what you can do with those characters. So yes, in my eyes, no character is bad, because I have seen what people, who spend time in a certain character, can do with them
I don't care about tier lists, I just want to enjoy the game with the characters I am good at

But is not an opinion, i'm talking in an objetive point of view, if you are saying that "no character in the game is bad", you are literally saying that bad game desing of characters don't exist in smash bros games, but it is already in, such as Kirby in Melee:

The fact that they are people that can do amazing things with low tier character, doesn't mean that every character in the game is good, i'm not forcing you to pick some specific characters, you need to understand that some characters are better that others, like in other videogames, such as Pokemon, where some Pokemon are bad like Unown (Unown have bad stats, the only attack that he can do is hidden power, why you can call something like this as "good" as the other charactes?), smash bros have bad characters too, you can't compare a character that have so many options like Fox in Melee, with a character that have many flaws and lack of options such as Bowser: he is really slow, his stronger attacks have very high startup, he has a bad recovery and is a punching bag, making him very easy to combo, besides of having losing/unwinnable matchups vs better characters, this is not about "I belive in my character because every character is good and only skill matters", it is about quality of the characters in general, everything can be criticized or being better that other things in this life, its all about logic andΒ objectivity.

Nice. He was my favorite in Melee, even though I've yet to play the game he's in...I have a thing for red haired guys in video games, though. Β Like Crono and Reyn.
I need to play more of the Fire Emblem series...I've only played the one on the Wii and still haven't finished it. I ought to pop it into my Wii U and start over.

I missed him a lot from Melee, and I will never understand why he wasn't in Brawl or SSB4. Nevertheless, it's great to see more fanart of him! Loved the details you put into this.

Well, I do'nt know it either. In my opinion, they could have put 3 FE characters in Brawl, instead of just replacing Roy with Ike. And as for SSB4, same, but maybe thats because I like the games very much, that I do'nt see any problem with having 5 characters representing it.
