I was in an art funk for a long time but I finally broke free and drew Team Rocket! It's been a long time since I devoted a day to drawing fanart, but this was fun! It felt weird to draw characters with such outrageous designs, haha. In the anime I think they're most recognizable feature besides their hair is their angular eyes, so I tried to include that. And I had to give Meowth a nose because he looked strange without it, and otherwise he looked far too cartoony in comparison to Jesse and James.Since my childhood is about to be over, my brother and I have been binge-watching and -playing Pokemon! I always loved Team Rocket, and when I was kid James was one of my favorite cartoon characters. I still love him but dang, Jesse and Meowth are great too!

Haha aahhhh James has always been one of my fave characters. ; ; I had to do well on him!
Yeah, the Pokemon anime style is so simplified that I didn't have much information to work with when it came to their facial features. They both have those special angular eyes, but their eyebrows are drawn as lines and their noses are tiny so I had to make up what I thought those features should look like. Jessie was easy to do for that but it was a little harder for me to decide on James. Glad you like it!

Meowth's nose was a bit surprising, but it's cute once you get used to it! ^^

Aw, yay! I was actually kinda worried I didn't do well on him. XD That silly smile was kind of an accident but I thought it suited him so I didn't mess with it. He's always been one of my most favorite characters too; I love that he's so sweet on the inside, haha.
Ah, good - I tried to draw it so it would still fit the existing design of the Pokemon. ^^ And yeah Jesse's pose is based on one of her very first appearances, when she was using James for an armrest, haha.

He's definitely the sweetest <3 So many times I've wanted him to leave Team Rocket and go on his own pathβ¦but then again, he and Jesse and Meowth just kinda belong together (as many different episodes have shown with at least one of them leaving for a time) so it'd be kinda sad to separate them.
I forgot about that! But it definitely seems like a very Jesse thing to do~
