I liked the image I got in chapter 16 when Virgil hears the voices of previous occupants of the mainframe. I kinda took that tiny segment and ran with it - I got pretty elaborate but this was a fun piece to work on! First time drawing Cave, Caroline, and wheaterz’ Virgil so that’s always fun.

Wait. Cave was also in the mainframe too at some point? Was that why he was so 'insane' or something?
This is just perfect! Caroline, Cave and Wheatley's madness induced by the GLaDOS technology... creepy and tragic in a way. Well done.

I'd have to ask the fic author to be sure, but I think her idea was that the mainframe was based on his personality, causing recklessness and desire to test in whoever was attached to it.

Oh my, now that's an idea I've never heard before! In a way, Caroline being put in the mainframe, could have put a little bit or a lot of Cave's personality into her. Hmm.
What exactly is the mainframe built from, I wonder? Combine technology? same technology used in their synth's which mentally binds them towards the cause of the Universal Union in unwavering servitude?

Yeah, I thought it was kinda fun to have Cave's voice being channeled through the mainframe as well. All that motivation to do crazy things 'for science'.
