gosh,,, this is too beautiful
the background and scenery is breathtakingly detail and is really atmospheric. you can really tell that these two are having a good time hanging out
every line is purposeful in this painting, everything is spaced well and nothing is too clustered or is 'too much'
the characters themselves are so pretty too (tho that could just be my appreciation on gryphons) and their poses and expressions are so full of movement and really effective
the water is masterfully painted and the shading is so well done i could cry
the characters may not be hyper realistic, but when did that really matter? the way they're drawn here really lets you pour personality into them and it's certainly worked here

A nice effect would have been to have some water streaming off of Solena's tail...but then again, I wouldn't have a clue on how to do it.
