This is another wild Silverback gorilla in the Northern Volcanoes of Rwanda. This guy was the leader of the group and the people had named him "Charles" haha. Once we found the gorillas, we spent an hour with them. Charles had been looking at me a lot so I zoomed in on him (I only had a 200mm lens but it worked well enough) and I took a five shot sequence of him eating this plant and this one turned out the best.What I like about this shot is how textured it is. You can see every single hair not to mention inside his mouth.

Blake....this is just amazing. The fact that it is wild and not zoo shot only adds to that in my opinion. The detail in the teeth and the movement of the tongue in the mouth...top shelf stuff here my friend.

Japan is at the top of the list dude...then Central/South America or Holland. Going to Japan is so dang expensive though. I have researched it. And I have a great friend that went to Argentina and Chile for 2 months traveling around....staying at hostils on about 2 grand. That REALLY isnt bad at all. Plane ticket cost more than a 2 month stay! HAHA!

I'd really love to go. A lot of people I've met while travelling don't seem that interested in it, they just want to do the thailand > australia > south america route. I don't understand that, when Africa has so much to see and experience.

Africa's the real deal that's where a lot of life started and where there's the most poverty and some of the most amazing landscapes and people. Just plan a trip there. It shouldn't be too expensive from the UK.
