For the last few months, I've been trying to nail a Heinrich's design with mixed results. I think part of the problem is I can't decide between a hunched-over or a straight-standing posture. If I could get that, then I could move on to the back-reactors and the armor. Anyway, this a compilation of all the WIPs I have of him and a few of his more monsterous human counterparts. I'll move this to scraps in a few days.Suggestions are extremely welcomed!

Hmm... If I had to choose, I'd make him Thrak-like. In other words, equally at home on all fours or on two. If he has the arm mobility, you could add a sling to his rifle and have it hung on his lower back just above his tail.
The above seems like a good compromise.
Although, I don't think Heinrich would move on all fours...

Hmm... Why not have both? You know, an upright for certain situations and hunched over for others.

I figured if I'm gonna have this character, he should at least have a design I'm proud of.

I like the hunched over posture as well, just be sure to make sure the backpack isn't too big that it looks like it would make hime fall oover from all the weight

Two things:
1. I like the hunched posture, like its not over defined you know? Just alittle hunch would be good.
2. I really really really dig the robot guy in the top right corner

I get what you're saying. And strangly enough, the reason the "robot" guy isn't finished is because I didn't like the way he was coming out. I guess I'll start tinkering with him again.

I say the hunched over concept does work. I say go for it, but have him able to stand straight if he has too.

The hunched posture looks pretty good when he has the armor on, and makes sense-if those tanks are fairly heavy, then it might make him carry himself that way. The armor outlines all look pretty nice, and it seems to fit him this time round! Well, sorta.
Really like the big, mech like guy up top, with the gun face, and that thing Heinrich is fighting in the lower corner looks pretty vicious.

Thanks for the help, it's great to have some outside opinions every once and a while. That lower corner one is from last year, I wasn't gonna include it but it's one of the few action shots I have.
