I found the SFM modles, and there were XNA models at one time, but I've been searching for some time and haven't found any working links. Β Guess I'll have to see if I can convert SFM to XNA or just learn how to use SFM.

I don't have Fallout 4 but I do have Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas as well as Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I also have to build my new PC to run Fallout 4. It's a shame that there's no full Steamworks conversion for FO3 espeically seeing that Windows 8 and later have problems with GFWL titles.
I might write a story (based on this render) featuring my OC (to simulate the player character you create in the Fallout games) exploring an empty/abandoned Vault only to get herself caught by the Raiders and possibly join Nora and Piper.

Thanks! Haven't played Fallout 3 on anything past Windows 7 but I think there are some fixes that should help run on the newer OS. Not sure why Bethesda doesn't just release a new version. It shouldn't be that much work to get rid of the GFWL configuration.

If the Lone Survivor was a male, he would be a man with a frozen wife Nora and the option to get a freeze gun. That whole game was really just a disguise for a post-apocalypse Mr. Freeze origin story! XD

It could very well be. With power armor and a freeze gun, the pieces are definitely there for a good Mr Freeze playthrough lol.

I kinda really want to try that, now...but, dangit, I'd have to actually bother to invest in lockpicking to get the freeze gun... Lockpicking. Blegh. Why pick a lock when you can get better at shooting the things around the lock?

That's why I always prefer the lock picking system in Elder Scrolls. Skill makes it easier but it's not required.
I think you need maxed out lock picking to get the cryo gun. At that point you have considerably stronger weapons and it really isn't worth it anymore. I think I fought a few enemies with it before storing it away

By that point in the game you've just built up a stockpile of a million 10mm or .45 rounds and never use anything other than your sidearm and combat rifle 
Or you've fully upgraded the laser musket thing Preston gives you right at the start and are going around basically one-shotting everything by emptying a fully-charged blast into their faces...

I wish I had enough restraint to only carry around two guns. I got like 7 different guns for different scenarios with me at all times. I always preferred a good gauss rifle to the musket. Gets more shots and reloads faster. I think I gave the musket to Piper lol
