in my school choir, we have a breathing exersize where we breath in and hiss all the air out. and it madde me think... we sound like a bunch of creepers! so heres a lazy Paint version of them. the one with its back turned in the middle is our teacher. he's using one of those sticks... what are they called? if someone can answe that i will draw a pic for them.

The sticks a conductor waves are called batons, by the way. (Orchestra...many, many years of it growing up.)

That one's particularly ornate, but it's really hard to find a good reference image.
I was just talking about the general style. It's a flared coat with a high collar, often in red, black, or white, with a belt, a dagger, a big fuzzy hat, and lines of bullet-looking things where you'd think breast pockets should be.
The rest of it, the braids and all that...that's Nicholas II's imperial stuff. It's all completely unnecessary. I actually like the peasant/soldier stuff better, but, like I said, there aren't a lot of good reference images from the front.
